Jimmy received the BNSF Employee of the Year Award this past weekend.  BNSF flew in 94 of it's 40,000 employees for a banquet in Fort Worth.  I'm so proud of him!!

Easter 2013

Alyssa had a fun Easter weekend with 3 Easter egg hunts.  The first was at TCU (yes mommy sucked it up and went), the second was at grandma and Papa's house and the third was with her cousins at our house.  Daddy will be helping her eat all the candy since he trained her well on the sport of egg-collecting.  It was a fun-filled weekend!

Cousin Kenzie

Kenzie Denise Willingham arrived last week and is just precious.  Although Alyssa loves her new cousin she is not a fan of mommy holding her (don't be fooled by the below picture).  It's going to be a rude awakening come August!!  

Two Year Appointment

Alyssa had her two year appointment last week and now weighs 23 lbs 8 oz (25th percentile) and is 33.9 inches (50th percentile).  

Happy Birthday Alyssa!

Alyssa had her second birthday this past Friday. Time seems to be flying by! We had had her birthday party at Celebrations so all the kids could play with the cars and dress up clothes and wear themselves out in the bounce house.  When giving Alyssa the option on what theme she wanted for her birthday, she chose a kitty cat.  Alyssa had a great time with all her friends and family!

 

Fort Worth Rodeo

We got to enjoy great seats at the rodeo again this year thanks to Kristin's work.  Alyssa loved the horses, whiplash (monkey that rides the dog), the petting zoo and the large slide that she was not even close to being tall enough to ride on her own.  We had a great time and ate way too much!

Little One on the Way!!

Alyssa is sharing the big news.  She is going to be a big sister!  The expected due date is mid-August.  We are excited and can't wait to find out if we will be having a boy or another girl.  When we ask Alyssa, she keeps saying sister so we will see if she gets her wish.  In the meantime, Alyssa will be working on sharing and not crying every time mommy or daddy holds another baby.
